Blogger Power Rankings

Just in time for the season opener tonight for the NBA, a group of blogging websites is rolling out the Blogger Power Rankings.

Each site will host it from week to week and post the results.  First up is the creator, Hornets24/7.  The preseason rankings have the Jazz listed fourth.  Here are my rankings and corresponding comments:

Rank Comments Pre-Season
Finish at the top, you start at the top. Celtics
Man, I hate this team. Lakers
Only a Deron Williams injury puts them above the Jazz for now Hornets
I'll start them here, but should Deron miss significant time, they could drop Jazz
They're in the mix every year.   Pistons
LeBron + more time with new players = More wins. Cavaliers
Austin Powers: "Why won't you die?" Spurs
You have to prove you deserve higher Rockets
Playoff team in the East.  Still need to see how Brand plays with the rest of the team. 76ers
Amare (Peaking) + Nash (plateauing) - Shaq (Declining) = Meh. Suns
Should rise fast.  Early schedule it brutal. Blazers
30, 34, 37, 40.  That's the number in Millions that Orlando will be paying Dwight and Lewis over the next four years.  That doesn't leave much room for anyone else. Magic
44 wins = 20 American right?  Wait, what?  Crap.  Pencil them in for about 36 American wins (44 Canadian) Raptors
"The blogger polling is going on.  I don't celebrate this #$%!" Mavericks
Someone tell me how they're making it back into the playoffs. Nuggets
Agent Zero's fans would like to see a quantum of playing time. Wizards
Screw you Derrick Rose.  Bastard. http://tinyurl.com/6fhrqz Bulls
Everybody loves Wade again. Heat
Won't make the playoffs, but they're going to cause problems for the leaders in the West as they vie for seeding. Timberwolves
Um, they should probably be lower. Pacers
Could cause problems in the East. Bucks
Shouldn't do anything. Kings
Why couldn't Jordan suck this bad in 97-98? Bobcats
RIP Thunder Warriors
Why do the Jazz Hawks
Lose  to Clippers
Teams Knicks
Like Nets
These? Grizzlies
Where are the Sonics on this list?  Am I missing something? Thunder

Good List. And funny comments.

The only team I think you are sleeping on is the Toronto Raptors. They won 41 games last year and then replaced Nesterovic with Jermaine O’neal, who I think is still really good. I personally think they will take 2nd in the Atlantic division with about 50-53 wins. Twin towers who get double teamed + tons of 3 point shooters= scary. Jazz will struggle against them.

The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
