Morris Almond won't be with the Jazz next year or maybe not even next week. They announced they won't be picking up his option.

They're currently shopping him around. Kind of a shocker considering we might need him next year when everyone else bails. And is there any guarantee that Harp is coming back? Seems like a pretty cheap insurance policy.

Would they trade him and Fess for a big man? It would bring the Jazz roster down to 14. I don't know who's out there though.

More than likely, it will be for picks or some sort.

It's all too bad. I wanted to see Mo get a shot.

wait, other people use that?

Totally thought I made that up. Ah well. I’m less creative than I thought.

I'll make it.

"Two potential destinations are San Antonio and Detroit"

I can’t imagine who we’d take in return from those two, so yeah, it probably will end up being some sort of draft pick to maybe make up for the one we sent to Philly for Korver.

A little suprised

Have to say I’m a little surprised seeing how his option was so cheap. I figured they would keep him around in case Korver decided to leave at the end of the year.

Agreed.

Or in case Harpring calls it quits. Or it becomes obvious that CJ isn’t going to do much of anything here (in 13 minutes/game as a starter).

At least it's a move

Nice to see the front office doing something… And best wishes to Almond. He’ll do well on a team that will let him loose.

Leave the ball, will you George?
