A few quick things...

  1. Please go to NBA.com and vote for Deron. It's All-Star time, baby!
  2. Do you think we should all get stickers for our cars that say: "8>3, SLCdunk.com"?
  3. I'm watching the Cleveland vs. Denver game. LBJ is a amazing.
  4. Melo got a haircut, no more cornrows.
  5. Billups is playing well, I might just beat UtesFan in the Fantasy League this week.

Yeah

my team has been horrible. The problem with such a small bench… with Kevin Martin & Devin Harris both hurt, I’m kinda stuck. And Calderon got hurt yesterday…

And Ron Artest’s shooting. Holy hell. 8.3% on the week. And no, that’s not a typo.

I used the default settings

I realize now a bigger bench might have been beneficial. Oh well. We’re all in the same boat — I missed out on Danny Granger yesterday, and Kenyon Martin and Shawn Marion have both been hurt, and of course Memo has been gone.

Yeah, we need to get out an Obama-like voting effore for all the Jazz-men.

And bumper stickers would be easy to do. I’m actually getting a sample t-shirt next week to make sure the quality is good. If it looks ok, I’ll get a post up with ordering information.

I voted

And the next screen says: “It’s fans like you that make the NBA All-Star Game the most exciting basketball event of the year.”

Hmmmmm…… I think I’ll go with 63 NCAA games, the four Hornets/Jazz games this year, any Western Conference game in the last two weeks of the season, oh yeah – and the playoffs.

I have enjoyed the Rookie/Sophs game more than the All-Star game. I would enjoy – as Bill Simmons suggests – a game of H-O-R-S-E at all star weekend.

I want Deron to get his All-Star status, but not because it’s a fun game to watch. If you had that same group of players, had captains pick teams, ante-up with their own money and played winner take all…that would be a game to watch.

Pants Off, Game On!
