Recap - Utah Jazz @ Charlotte Bobcats

Williamscomm_medium

There is to be no more talk about the Jazz being contenders or even a good team until the following two things happen,

  1. The Jazz are back at full strength
  2. And they CAN FRICKIN BEAT A DAMNED LOTTERY TEAM ON THE ROAD!

That is all

Ted Danson never had to put up with this crap.

Washington/Cleveland

Washington was 0-5 when we played them.
Now to the opposite end of the spectrum… Cleveland.

They have won six straight. . . . They are 5-0 at home. . . . They did the Jazz a favor Thursday night, when they defeated Denver, 110-99. . . . Former Jazz PG Mo Williams scored 24 points in the win.

Where's Almond?

What’s up with Morris Almond? Is Sloan just not playing the guy or is he even suited up? I didn’t see him on the bench, but I didn’t watch all the game.

It really seems like he's going to get no burn at all

this season.

I wonder if he’ll even get as many minutes as last season.

Tonight
Deron Williams (ankle), Andrei Kirilenko (finger), Mehmet Okur (personal) and Matt Harpring (ankle) will all sit out Utah’s game on Saturday.

CJ, Koufos

It sucks for our record, but it’s kind of nice to see the backups get significant minutes. We have to be happy about Koufos. I thought CJ played well. Brewer continues to play well. If these games give those guys experience and minutes and perspective and all that, it might pay off down the road.

But yeah, it’s embarrassing to get beaten by Adam Morrison.

Pants Off, Game On!
