I wish him well

Almond gets drafted in the first round, scores 50 twice, is told they won’t pick up his contract…. and he continues to show effort, patience, improvement, good attitude, etc. In the minutes he’s been given, he has played hard on defense, plays within the offense, and keeps his mouth shut for the most part. He’s very likable.

before this season, including the RMR, i thought that all almond could and would do was shoot, and that he couldn’t play within the offense. he’s been a real pleasant surprise, and has shown effort on D. good for him.

Sadly, all he does do is shoot

(with the occasional rebound)… and his shot refuses to fall
