Utah Jazz @ Houston Rockets - Game Thread
Utah Jazz at Houston Rockets, Dec 27, 2008 6:30 PM MST
I probably won't get home in time to write up a proper preview for tonight's game. SO if this is here, you'll know why. Otherwise, there will be a preview and you won't even know this text existed.
Anyway, the Jazz face the Mavs for the first time this year. It won't have the same feel as the previous meetings due to everyone being out. But it's still the Rockets and this game could help determine seeding come playoff time. But please, I don't want to see the Rockets' mugs again in the playoffs.

Have to mention...
you mention that we’re facing both the Mavs & Rockets tonight. Hopefully we win both the games. ;)

according to deseret news
we have Collins back for tonight’s game.
I know…who cares…
>.>
Yao is such a horrible matchup tonight...
He’s making everyone better just by being on the floor. This could get ugly early.
is it just me
or are the rockets traveling on every drive?
My sincere apologies...
For calling Fesenko a piece of garbage yesterday…
He’s proving me wrong… until he tried to make that layup down 3.
silly refs
ending the time before ronnie even touches it
Q: How many fouls can Yao Ming get away with?
A: Three Quarters worth and the last two minutes of the game as well
Grammar is not a time of waste
the funny thing is
Adelman complained after the game that Yao was getting “mugged” on every possession. And the guys at The Dream Shake were whining up a storm. Then again, they avowedly hate us.
Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?
The foul differential (& FT differential)
was clearly in their favor though… while the shooting percentages suggest that it shouldn’t have been that way.
Until the Jazz were draining their jumpers & the Rockets were blowing lay-ups more often than No Knees.
What the Rockets fans don't realize
is that the refs sucked for both teams – but in the end clearly favored the Rockets by a HUGE margin.
