Utah Jazz at Phoenix Suns, Dec 6, 2008 7:00 PM MST
Back to backs have to be brutal enough, but when you go on the road after playing late the night before, you'd think the players would have something against that in the CBA.
Of course Sloan won't care. Neither will the Suns. Neither will the refs.
So the Jazz start out the game already with a huge disadvantage. But you have to think that some of the momentum they played with last night can carry over to tonight. I know when you're playing well, you want to get right back out there and keep it going
Deron keeps getting better and better. And as a result, everyone else gets better and better.
The Jazz have played well against the Suns recently. So while this game is on the road, on the second of a back to back, they should keep things close and hopefully pull one out in Phoenix.

I never believed that

Teams can't run on us unless we start taking and missing jumpshots.
That is the main reason you can’t settle for jumpers. It allows teams to run on you.

I don't understand having Price in at the end.
We just didn’t get it done defensively. We fouled too much and most importantly, we lost this game due to missed free throws.

This team needs to get the attitude that losing is unacceptable.
The Lakers have that attitude this year and I don’t see it from us. I thought we would have it this year after losing at home to the Lakers, but I see too many , “we’ll get ’em next time” looks on the players’ faces.

i think it would be contagious.
it’s like how karl/john played regardless of injuries or being banged up and it spread to the entire team that you just played.
if dwill has and exerts that attitude and fire, it’ll spread to the team.

I agree. But I just haven't seen it for about 10 games or so. We play with zero urgency as a team.
And I think Deron would play with more urgency if he weren’t recovering. And we aren’t a good enough team not to play with it every night. Plain and simple.

We have been bit by the injury bug and such, but at some point Sloan is exactly right.
