I have to say this would suck. The Jazz have had a draft party at the ESA the past couple of years and it doesn't seem like there are plans to have one this year.

I don't know why they would suddenly stop doing this. It's great to be around a bunch of other crazy Jazz fans and to hear all of the thoughts on who should be drafted.

KOC even told the crowd who the pick was going to be right after he had phoned it in to the NBA. It was great to see the behind-the-scenes action while watching to draft on ESPN.

It will be a shame if they don't have it this year. All they have to do is open the ESA and pay a few people to cover concessions (okay, maybe a little more than that). No one will care if they don't have the free hot dog and drink. What a wasted opportunity. There are die-hard Jazz fans that live for this kind of thing.

Let's hope there's a quick about face to get this done.

It's probably

due to some monetary concerns.
And it’s totally stupid.

I tend to listen in to the radio broadcast of the draft, so I here when KOC announces the pick to the crowd… before Stern announces it publicly. I’m gonna miss that for sure… the reaction that you get before hearing the WWL analysts break it all down and make you think it’s a stupid pick. We don’t get that benefit any more, and you know… first impressions are highly important.

The Utah Jazz. The Jazz... duh.
The best NBA team in Utah... no doubts about it!
Playing For Pride. Pirates, Utes, Panthers, and more...
Because, in the end, only one team can "win it all".

Sorry about the self-link, but

I don’t want to copy everything over.

Maybe it has a deeper meaning.
