Proof Harpring played football (#10)

Apparently, Matt Harpring used to play football. Was anyone aware of that? You think we would have heard of this before now.

What?!?!

This is literally the first time I have ever heard this… You’d think Boler or Booner would fill us in on this info.. Great work guys!
But seriously, are we to think that Matt Harpring is the ONLY NBA player to have played another sport besides basketball in high school? He’s the only one out of all these world-class athletes to try his hand at football, as well as basketball?
Guess what guys.. I played football AND ran track in high school. Plus, I played city league basketball and was the waterboy for the baseball team! Let me know if you wanna do a profile on me.

I played

Junior Jazz. And coach-pitch & kid-pitch baseball for a bit.
Oh, and I took tennis lessons. And play basketball & football for fun.

I guess I’m not profile material… :(

The Utah Jazz. The Jazz... duh.
The best NBA team in Utah... no doubts about it!
Playing For Pride. Pirates, Utes, Panthers, and more...
Because, in the end, only one team can "win it all".

Waterboy?

Skip the profile… Disney might be willing to make a movie about you. :)

Call me Disney...

But if I’ll be damned if I let Matthew McConahey play my character!

Madden

I’m fairly good at occasionally having a good game, but normally I come across as if I have no idea how to play.
Kinda like Matt Harpring…

He's not the only one to cross over.

But, he’s the only one who is so hard working, hustles, and consistently misses easy, wide-open layups.

WAIT

you got this off of www.mattharpring.com???? The better question is, why in the world does Matt Harpring have a website?

by DaniellelovesKK on Jul 17, 2008 10:11 PM MDT reply actions   0 recs

He's hoping someone will visit the site

and be like “ooh.. this guy is awesome.”
Get someone like that, and his fan-base doubles.

I just want to know..

how many other ball players who have websites put pictures of their cross-over days in high school. Maybe this is why the media beat this story to death.
