Rocky Mountain Revue Game Thread - San Antonio @ Utah

One of the great things about SBNation is that game threads are automatically scheduled.  The Revue games are not though.  So, I'm getting these set up in advance in case I forget later

The Jazz open the Rocky Mountain Revue against the SAS.  I'll likely be at the games, so here's a game thread.  While the NBA will be broadcasting the Vegas summer league online, it doesn't look like the RMR will have the same privilege.

Let's get the 2008-2009 seasons started.

The games

will be on the radio at 1320 KFAN, and on KJZZ.
At least the Jazz games will be.

The Utah Jazz. The Jazz... duh.
The best NBA team in Utah... no doubts about it!
Playing For Pride. Pirates, Utes, Panthers, and more...
Because, in the end, only one team can "win it all".

The NBA...

breeding bad-sighted refs starting in the summer leagues.
I’ve never understood how a ref completely behind the play can blow a whistle…

The "defense" the Jazz are playing...

just like the regular season.
Leave the middle open, and if someone drives, foul them.

J-Slow must love it.

They're making it unbearable to watch a summer league game

Not good for the NBA, IMO.

The Jazz are shooting

like Matt Harpring.

That’s not good… even in the summer league.

The refs are worse in summer league.

It’s a tryout for them as well and they seem to think that if they’re not blowing the whistle, they’re not doing their job. It’s bad.

God.

Just jam the whistles down their throats. We’re already sick of it… and the season hasn’t even begun yet.

David Stern… your officials (actual & wannabe) suck.

do know that there are no foul-outs, right?

continues to amaze.
Why can’t we have him instead of Hart?
Why?

Wake up KOC.

Hot Rod

just mentioned that the Clips could be good with Baron & Camby and if Elton stays with them.

Doesn't it seem

that everytime Fesenko plays a game with NBA-ers, he gets poked in the eye or something?

George Hill

looking good.

Unfortunately, he’ll be the back-up/3rd-string PG for the Spurs, not the Jazz.

Stupid Jason Hart.

Well, that was ugly.

I guess it’s time to give up on the season now, right?

:)

The team can’t even beat the Spurs in the summer league.
