"We're done with signing probably any free agents," O'Connor said, "but we're certainly not done continuing to look at working our roster to improve ourselves."

I don't know how they would sign any more free agents even if they wanted to seeing how the roster is at 15.
But it's promising that they're looking at trades still. Could see something happen after the Olympics.

Thanks KOC...
for stating the obvious!
Your roster is maxed out… obviously you’re not going to sign any FAs.
I’m glad we have a GM that knows how many players on the roster… I wasn’t sure how many players we had.
We’re done with signing probably any free agents…
That sentence doesn’t even make any sense.
The Utah Jazz. The Jazz... duh.
The best NBA team in Utah... no doubts about it!
Playing For Pride. Pirates, Utes, Panthers, and more...
Because, in the end, only one team can "win it all".

This is more likely than not the team this season
I know that KOC left the option open for a trade, but I am starting to settle into the fact that this will probably be our team this season. After this season, it will make more sense to make a trade since we will know where we stand with players like Okur, Boozer, and Korver. I am not saying we definitely won’t make a trade, but I think the chance of it happening before the season starts is about 25%. I believe that the front office believes the team, as it is currently constituted, can win the championship. I know a lot of fans would disagree with this, but the Jazz have a legitimate contender as is. The regular season will be very crucial as far as getting a top 3 seed, but this team will be better next season barring injuries. Anyhow, just giving some warning that I wouldn’t get my hopes up for a trade until the trade deadline if one does okur (mispelling intended).

A post script
And just to set the record, I don’t necessarily agree with not making a trade, but from what I have gathered, the Front Office believes that we have a championship type team for the next year. And I am making a prediction based on history and interviews. I do believe this team could win the championship next year, but I also wouldn’t mind moves that would increase our chances.

Misspelling
Are you implying Okur should be traded?

they'll need to wait
for Deron to get back so that he can “yea” or “nay” any trade. he is the official Utah Jazz power broker
