I think he would love to play there. And if his salary comes off the books, this might be a good move for everyone. I don't see anyone else taking on the remaining three years of his deal.

But even if you're KOC and you want this to happen, how do you approach AK about this?

Plus, I think the Kirilenkos are pretty embedded in Utah right now. There hasn't been much incentive for them to leave recently. But this would be something they would have to consider, wouldn't it? The Jazz wouldn't let him go this year, but come summer 2009, they would have to welcome a buyout, wouldn't they?

over on TheHoop is correct. AK isn’t walking away from nearly $50 million over the next two years. Last summer, yeah, I think he was close to walking. But after last season when Sloan starting giving him more hugs…err…praise and minutes I think AK felt better about his role on the team. Plus, if Boozer does walk next summer that means AK will likely slide back over to the 4, which is where he was happiest.
