That was my first thought too.
I was thinking “man, he’s a little too cool for school” right at first, but then I realized that he’s just annoyed. He just wants some space. It’s a totally normal reaction. But I know what you mean about the superstar stuff. It’s sort of like listening to a really cool indie band and then they make it big and their music is never the same and they don’t mean as much to you, because they aren’t yours to enjoy as much.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
I thought he handled it pretty well.
Way better than the “I F*$%in hate that guy” incident from last season when a reporter asked him a dumb question. This time it looks like he’s almost going to swear again and stops himself.
Some people have a very large personal comfort zone.

Large Comfort Zone
I think there’s a correlation between size of comfort zone and size of contract. Do you think Dee Brown would ever dis a reporter that way? Look, I love D-Will like I loved Bird back in the day. But I would just be sick if he turned into a jerk. I bet Minnesootans loved Starbury when he first showed up for KG’s team. I’m just crossing my fingers that he – as we all used to write in yearbooks – stays cool.
Leave the ball, will you George?
