Millsap out tonight, set to undergo MRI
According to Ross Siler at the Trib it looks like Millsap will miss tonight's game in Oklahoma City. He underwent an MRI this afternoon after shoot around but is still hopeful of playing on Friday at Memphis.
I'm not to thrilled to hear Millsap say that it "don't feel right". It's never a good sign to hear an athlete say that he doesn't think something is right in his body. Argh!

Awesome.
The Blazers have been trying to get Miles’ salary off the books due to injury. Can I ask the league to let the Jazz take the salary for all of the injuries this year and add that to the team’s cap over the next few years?

I hate to say it
but with a hyperextended left knee and now a bruised right knee, has Millsap taken the title of “No Knees” from Harpring?
Since Millsap can feel pain in his knees, at least we know he's got 'em. And like Bolerjack says, "If ya got 'em, use 'em.
Harpring always dies a little bit inside when he hears that from Bolerjack, cuz unlike Millsap, he doesn’t have them.

HAHAAhahaha..
By the same token, Bolerjack’s “Buckle up” might also explain why Harpring falls so much on the floor….watch those knees buckle!

But on a more serious note.
I don’t think this should hurt the Jazz long term. We should still beat OKC and Memphis without Millsap. And he shouldn’t be out more than a game or two. If he is…heaven help us.

UPDATE!
Just got the text from KFAN saying that Millsap’s MRI showed a cartilage bruise and he is listed as day to day. Hopefully some good news.
The injury itself shouldn't be a bad one. The bruise terminology is interesting since the knee doesn't have blood vessels around it.
But because it isn’t surrounded by vessels, it will also take longer to heal. My worry is that the injury is giving him so much pain, so there might be some damage. Bottom line: it’s just going to take some time to heal. My guess would be one week or so, but you never know with Paul Millsap.
