very, very interesting. Basically, NBA refs are just like your usual dudes, making stupid bets and trying to have fun at work. Except that when they goof around they affect millions of fans and billions of dollars’ worth invested in players and teams.

ESPN is like the kid from California who moves to Utah and makes snow angels in half an inch of snow.

I just hate the feeling that games are dictated so much by officiating.
I never felt that way during the preseason. Maybe because the games didn’t count.

When I pulled up the ESPN simulation for Jazz Nuggets
it said Jazz lose to Lakers like 70%. They must really own us to beat us on a night we don’t play them.
What we learned today...
1- it’s all the same as last year (which was to be expected, given that nothing really changed)
2- Maynor & Matthews… welcome to the bench. Now sit down.
3- Boozer sucks.
4- Deron still turns it over too much.
5- Kosta Koufos is in the dog house
