PrintMaybe it is just me, but is anyone else upset that the Jazz are doing nothing this year to honor Larry H. Miller? Detroit Pistons owner Bill Davidson who passed away last year is being honored on the back of the Pistons jersey in, what is believed to be the first permanent memorial on an NBA jersey.
My question is, why aren't the Jazz doing this? Has there been another owner in the Association that has meant more to his franchise than LHM? I mean he paid for his own arena, and has done everything possible to ensure that the Jazz are never going to leave Utah.
Just my humble opinion, but I think think the Jazz missed the boat on this one.

they should definitely be
retiring his number or his seat (i.e. lowering the esa capacity by one) or yeah, doing something. maybe they will later in the season.
I am surprised they haven't named something for him yet.

Ya lets worship LHM more than we already have.......
Larry Miller is gone, get over it people. Or maybe we should erect a monument in his honor like I have heard others mention; with him wearing a jazz jersey and some short shorts and his gut hanging out. That would be awesome. Whats next, maybe rename ESA Larry H Miller Arena or how bout rename Salt Lake City, Larry Miller City. Enough is enough already.
In what way
has he been “worshiped”? I agree with others that not enough has been done. The guy truly made a huge difference in this community and there ought to be some kind of lasting remembrance. No need for the hate just because he didn’t look pretty..

Neck Tatoos
I think the Jazz players and coaches should be forced to have a tatoo of either LHM’s face or initials placed on their neck. Not only does it look good, maybe they’ll act a little more hardcore.
