GO JAZZ!!!

SLC Dunk #1 Jazz Site in the world!

by RRR on Dec 18, 2009 5:44 PM MST reply actions

Coach Woodson

When asked what’s the difference for his team this year: “They’re hungry!”

I wonder if this is what we are missing on a consistant basis. I can’t remember who posted an incredibly inspiring diatribe of “I hopes”, but it fired me up. Please repost that at some point—gotta have that fire!

I wonder what fires this team up, and when they will get fired up consistently and punish teams. I hipe tonight is the night they start (fact: that’s how I feel)

by Juan B on Dec 18, 2009 5:49 PM MST via mobile reply actions

it was a preseason post ...

I hope CJ has a defensive revelation … Etc.

by Juan B on Dec 18, 2009 5:50 PM MST via mobile up reply actions

never mind

Don’t want to be fired up anymore.
Wake me up when it’s draft time.

by Juan B on Dec 18, 2009 6:03 PM MST via mobile reply actions

Wow I love how my game tracker doesnt lie it just says it like it is “Bad pass by korver”

by RIon on Dec 18, 2009 6:05 PM MST reply actions

Hopefully AK gets fired up!

by RIon on Dec 18, 2009 6:07 PM MST reply actions

Well looks like a better close to the first…..

by RIon on Dec 18, 2009 6:10 PM MST reply actions

We really shot abysmally to start this game.

Atlanta moved the ball better than we did and hit their open looks. This was a textbook example of how important proper spacing is to our offense. When we move and share the ball, we get better shots. If we’re not willing to put in the effort to do that, we become a jump-shooting team, and we’re just not good enough at that.

Credit the Hawks defense too, though, for making it hard on us.

Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

oh good you're here so i can say

by Shums on Dec 18, 2009 6:13 PM MST up reply actions

Maynor

is getting MUCH more comfortable penetrating and hanging in the key. A lot fewer of those awkward looking floaters, more control on his shot.

Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

by Shums on Dec 18, 2009 6:15 PM MST reply actions

also

Matthews needs to be careful because he hasn’t been playing well, and CJ Miles has been instant offense since his return from injury.

Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

by Shums on Dec 18, 2009 6:16 PM MST reply actions

Well instant offense as long as his tummy is feeling ok

by RIon on Dec 18, 2009 6:17 PM MST up reply actions

Korver, on the other hand

has just been taking up space since his return.

Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

by Shums on Dec 18, 2009 6:18 PM MST reply actions

Maynor: "YOINK!"

Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

by Shums on Dec 18, 2009 6:21 PM MST reply actions

hmmm maynor lookin good tonight?

by RIon on Dec 18, 2009 6:22 PM MST reply actions

Wow can you say out rebounded?

by RIon on Dec 18, 2009 6:26 PM MST reply actions

13 turnovers in the first half.

Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

by Shums on Dec 18, 2009 6:41 PM MST reply actions

So the latest rumor has the Warriors wanting to give up Corey Maggette with Anthony Randolph to get rid of his contract.

I wonder if the Warriors would consider AK and Ronnie Brewer for Raja Bell, Anthony Randolph and Maggette. Sorry Moni, but getting rid of AK’s contract, if we could, would fix a lot of things.

The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.

by clarkpojo on Dec 18, 2009 6:58 PM MST reply actions

i think i would actually go for that trade

and if ak has to go anywhere, i’d love to see him play nellieball. i’d like to see him being ak-47 again and i know in my heart he can’t in this system

by moni on Dec 18, 2009 7:00 PM MST up reply actions

can we play our "making less than 5 mill per year" lineup?

just to see what happens?

maynor, matthews, price, fes…

by moni on Dec 18, 2009 7:02 PM MST reply actions

hah

I would like that

Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

is anyone here old enough to remember the '92 dream team

and how angola was so outmatched they just kept shooting 3’s?

i’m getting a flashback.

by moni on Dec 18, 2009 7:08 PM MST reply actions

The Hawks have an average amount of points for how much time is left in the game.

The Jazz have… significantly less.

Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

by Shums on Dec 18, 2009 7:11 PM MST reply actions

ummm......

we have now exceeded the point differential of the NJ-TOR game.

:'(

:’(

Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

by Shums on Dec 18, 2009 7:14 PM MST up reply actions

okay guys this totally just happened

I’m sitting on my couch and someone knocks at the door. The door that leads out to my front deck. The front deck that is situated about fifteen feet above the ground floor. HOW DID SOMEONE GET TO MY FRONT DECK AND KNOCK ON MY DOOR.

… then I realized that the deck connects to the other side of the duplex. Turns out this dude came over to visit my roommate but entered the wrong side of the house, thus showing up on my front deck.

This incredibly boring story is brought to you purely to underscore how UTTERLY AWFUL this game is.

Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

Farm boy from Nebraska right?

Amazingly sat across from him during breakfast. Had not a clue who he was but had all these real tall fellers hanging around him as though he was a big wig.
