It’s all luck.
Most roster moves.
I’ve dropped my 4th round pick (or maybe traded him & saw him dropped). I traded my 5th rounder for Paul Millsap. Dropped my 7th, 8th & 12th rounders. Dropped & picked up my 11th rounder (Curry) like 4 times and my 10th rounder (Lee) a couple of times.
On the other hand, Noah + Frye were way lucky picks. Been playing out of their minds.

It's not so much a preference, just the way things are.
The WAC used to contain all the teams of the MWC and the WAC. Conference too large, took two years to play conference opponents.
It just was not working well. So there was a split.

If it were at a reasonable wage ie close to minimum… but when we traded for him we were aware that we were paying through the nose for him…..

I'm really pleased
with CJ’s effort since his return from injury. I wish we had had him all season like this. Then again, we wouldn’t have discovered Matthews in that case. And Matthews is still a better defender.
