I figure you would agree, but it is one thing to be a fan and say it and another to be a journalist.

Looks good — trouble with Sports Guy is that even though he points out a lot of good things, and even though he’s very entertaining, you have to deal with how he hates Utah, hates the Mailman, takes jabs at Stockton, and thinks that writing about poop is even funnier the 98,874th time than it was before.

True. I am only a couple chapters in and he mentions in the first chapter that he will be merciless with Kareem and Vince Carter. no mention of Utah sports yet.
But it is really well written and he really does “get” the things about the league and the players that many people don’t. I recommend it so far. It is more insightful, inspiring and nostalgic than I expected as well. He uses the F word more often than I expected too.

Cruddy team. Second of a back-to-back. Easy to lose focus and interest.
This is the game they lose any of the past 3 years. This is a game they get blown out any of the past 3 years.

It would be awesome for TCU to be put in the championship game, but it would be beyond sucky for Boise State to be shut out again.

But the fiesta bowl mentioned they might like to put BSU and TCU against each other. that would be interesting.

But really bad for non-Big 6 schools in general. The last thing you need is for them to both play each other. We need them to play against different Big-6 schools & prove their worth.
Plus… TCU & Boise State played in a bowl game last year.

I don't think that would be interesting.
That would be a cop out. Have the little guys play each other so none of the big schools have to go through the embarrassment Alabama went through last year.

Hoping for USC, simply b/c the BCS is all about “name” and not actual play.

Back in the day he seemed more willing/able to bench the starters when they’re not bothering to show up. I remember times the Mailman would be yanked to the bench within the 1st 2 minutes of the 3rd quarter because they were stinking it up. I don’t see him doing that as much with these guys.

I’d argue they’re about equal defensively.
At the time, I thought a Brewer/Brewer duo, while bad offensively (but that’s why we had Deron/Booze/Okur) would really help us shut down all the wings that exploded on us.

Here's the thing...
how long can you keep blaming the players/back-to-back/etc. Every team has back-to-backs, every team feels fatigue… and yet they keep winning (some of them at least).
I know Slow is the best thing since sliced bread and all that, but seriously…
when does blame shift to him?
He’s obviously doing something wrong.
Rotations, motivation, practice, emphasis… I have no idea. But it’s not working.
