The Jazz today sent rookie big man Kosta Koufos to the Utah Flash, their Orem-based affiliate in the NBA Development League.

The Jazz also recalled center Kyrylo Fesenko from the Flash, as they're allowed to have no more than two D-League assignees at the same time — and shooting guard Morris Almond is with the minor-league team as well.

It's the first assignment to the Flash for Koufos, who — partly because teammates have been healthy — hasn't played with the Jazz since Feb. 17.

Fesenko has had two stints for the Flash this season, and is eligible for one more.

The Flash have 10 games remaining, including home dates Friday night and Saturday night vs. Anaheim. Their regular season ends at home on April 11.

okay, i'm not some nba scouting guru

but . . . we recall 7’1, 300+ fes after a back-to-back set against Yao Ming and Shaquille O’Neal?

maybe we tried to recall him earlier

but he was suffering from stomach problems brought on putting tabasco sauce on his pancakes

hahaha

I love it when people remember my jokes.

Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

He's not going to play though

it’ll be just like The Koof… sit on the bench (in suit) and get no burn.

End of his Jazz/Flash career?

thanks

I put this story up on the site and forgot to post a link over here.

also, THE KOOF WILL OBLITERATE ALL IN ITS PATH IN THE D-LEAGUE.

Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

dude, he plays on the flash

he’s going to set screens, be asked to rebound, and watch a whole bunch of guards taking shots on the perimeter . . .

I don't expect Fesenko to get any quality playing time during this stint.

It seems more like a last-ditch 3 week tryout for Fes to prove he belongs on the Utah Jazz. I hope he takes it seriously in practice and things like that.

But I agree with AllthatJazz, we could have used Fesenko for some minutes against Houston and Phoenix. Even if it was just 5 minutes.

The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.

yeah, Fes can't slack off now

hopefully we’ll see him in games just to get him some more nba experience. he’s a prospect through and through, but right now he’s also a very long term project. you shouldn’t just give up on a young, raw guy with that size. bball IQ comes with experience, something he does not have.

I agree. Big time.

Maybe they finally shift Flop to the inactive list?

Notice, though

That Flop didn’t get his usual minutes against Shaq and we lost….

OK, I can’t really make that argument with a straight face.

Buckle up!

Ssshhhh....

don’t let J-Slow see that. Especially with another game against the Suns on tap.

Ok.

If KK2.0 is down here in Orem, I’m gonna find him and hang out.

Post pics

and videos if you can get him to show off some dance moves.
