I didn't even know there was a game tonight.
It has screwed up my plans.

Wow.
Where is everybody? Maybe watching Dancing With the Stars like I am. Got to put in my time now, so I can watch all the playoff basketball I want to.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
Wow.
this is about as good a first quarter as you could ask for.
Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?
Sirens. Sirens. Sirens.
This is the Jinx police. Come out with your hands up.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
Sorry
I thought the quarter was over already. My bad.
Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?
Uh oh Shums.
Your boy Wilson Chandler might get into foul trouble tonight.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
And just as you said how good we were doing, NY goes on a 3-2 run to finish the quarter. Great.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
Because just as you say that, our reserves come in.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
Nice touch. Man I wish I could do graphics like that.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
Um,
well, ok
only Deron. No one else. EVER.

Who knows
during the PHX game (the 2nd one), she mentioned that I should include Korver in my “to be punched” list…
He deserved it.
It’s tough love. Obviously it’s helping tonight.

Boozer's 14 pts 10 rebs looks interesting
Is it because…
-the box score’s lying?
-we’re playing the knicks?
-or something that’ll be around tomorrow?
Sometimes Millsap makes shots more difficult than they need to be. He needs to fix this problem.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
okay guys
this has got to stop. These second-half collapses will be the death of me.
Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?
I hate to blame Deron, but Saturday he got in foul trouble and tonight he is settling for jumpers.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
Having CJ and Boozer on the floor at the same time is bad. Two defensive sieves.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
I don't think this is a good thing that is happening right now

Final nail in the coffin?
Harpring on the court?
by DaniellelovesKK on Mar 30, 2009 8:54 PM MDT reply actions
It's not the nail in the coffin, but it is lemon juice in the paper cut.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
holy cow, really?
would’ve thought it would be right up your street.
Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?
I know right.
I’m such a quanundrum.
How do you even spell that?
by DaniellelovesKK on Mar 30, 2009 9:02 PM MDT up reply actions
well, it’s either “quandary” or “conundrum,” but I like your combination better.
Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?
Agreed
that said, I really don’t think either word can be used to describe a person… they both describe ‘states of thought’ or the likes. Or maybe I’m just losing it.
What the hell is this offense we're running?
And who has Lee?
by Basketball John on Mar 30, 2009 8:58 PM MDT reply actions
The "we are done working hard for what we get" offense.
Jumpshots are the ultimate copout.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
Yikes...?
The Jazz went into Monday’s game with a 14-15 record against Eastern Conference teams. They finished 21-9 against the East last season
I'm kind of like really nervous right now.
Not only for tonight, but especially for tomorrow night.

Let me translate what Harrington just said about that call:
“That’s Bullsh*t”

From posting & toasting...
jeffries with a 7 point third so far
extrapolated to a whole game, the panda could go extinct.
The Utah Jazz… causing the extinction of panda’s, one at a time.
Just curious (as I don't get to see many games)
is it truly “good defense”, or is it more just “better defense than anyone else on the team”?
No, but with the skills he has, I would say he is playing the best defense he possibly can. Seriously.
He is a top 5 guy now in terms of taking charges.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
That's always good
especially given the fact the Jazz seem to shy away from D.
CJ has potential, but it’ll probably go to waste.
Booze. Ugh.
Etc…
Nice to see a couple guys stepping up.
Maybe Korver wants the “most deflections” crown this year.
Boozer better make that shot, cuz he was triple teamed and Korver was wiiiide open in the corner.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
Hi y'all
Lovely team we got here, ain’t it?

It's going to be a good game tomorrow night in Portland
Did I see Kirilenko in a suit on the bench?
draft dejuan blair
It didn't seem like an injury that should cause him to miss more than half a game
But then again, he missed a few games back in November with a “sprained finger,” so you never know. Our commentators made it seem like more of a precaution that he was sitting out, though.
Probably, yeah
They probably reasoned that we needed him much more tomorrow night than we did for the second half of tonight. Almost proved that theory wrong with our second half collapse, though.
If by good you mean blowout, I agree
by Brigadier Pudding on Mar 30, 2009 9:26 PM MDT up reply actions
I dunno
Portland had a pretty bad performance against Dallas, them on a back to back. Rudy was out, though, so they just stayed in zone the whole game.
Utah has a chance.
draft dejuan blair
I'm a nervous fan.
I fully expect a close game, well into the fourth quarter tomorrow.
I hope Utah drops to the eighth spot, just so the Lakers have a tough first round opponent. Kobe crying after being upset would make my heart happy.
draft dejuan blair
what's our record on road back to backs?
how many road wins vs teams with winning records?
it’ll be a miracle if it’s not a 20 point loss.
by Brigadier Pudding on Mar 30, 2009 9:30 PM MDT up reply actions
hmmm.
Yeah, but it all depends on Oden. If he has a good game, it will be a blowout. If he gets in foul trouble, it will be close.
Ah, the tribulations of a young big man. Eternal foul trouble.
draft dejuan blair
That's only your young big man
Our young big men can’t even get on the court… foul trouble (for others) or not.
well
I’m sure McMillan would play veterans, but Ruffin is pretty much our only veteran, and he is horrible. He airballed a fastbreak layup a few weeks ago.
draft dejuan blair
Compared to
Fesenko & The Koof, yep.
Plus, our team is kinda young… and he’s been around for a couple of years.
until further proof
i have no faith in this team vs good teams on the road, let alone vs good teams on the road with zero days rest.
by Brigadier Pudding on Mar 30, 2009 9:35 PM MDT up reply actions
I have seen enough Blazer games to know that you guys put too much unneeded pressure on Oden. He isn't really the difference maker tonight in any way, I don't think.
The difference will be, if the Jazz come out and play with energy and run their offense. If they do those things, we can win, or else it can be a great game. If we don’t, you guys will kill us, regardless of performance of Oden, or any blazer, for that matter. Right now, it’s mental for the Jazz on the road.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
I don't put that much pressure on him
Him just being out on the court changes the way that the opponent plays. He was dominating the Philadelphia game because the refs let the teams play physically.
Right now, he doesn’t have the athleticism back from microfracture… I don’t expect greatness this year. My point was that Utah has no bigs that are big enough to contend with Oden down low.
If Oden plays really well, the Blazers should win. He is a barometer.
draft dejuan blair
agree on oden
i watched portland the other night vs memphis (i had money on it, that’s my excuse) and i barely noticed when oden was on the court.
by Brigadier Pudding on Mar 30, 2009 9:37 PM MDT up reply actions
Yeah
but he dominated the game against Philadelphia the same week. He’s inconsistent.
That was an incredible game, despite the home loss.
draft dejuan blair
I watched that game. And I think to dominate, you would have to overwhelm the opposition.
He played one of his better games and the Blazers still lost. He is going to be a neat player in the league and may still become the anchor people hope, but you are listening too closely to what your commentators were saying. They were using words like dominate to describe his game. And I don’t like the Jazz commentators, so I am not making any personal attacks on your team, but that old guy who commentates Blzer games is super obnoxious and has a limited scope of his basketball views. He wears Black and Red colored glasses. Not as bad as Denver, but pretty bad.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
makeup call.
deron got him and kk got hit for it

BBJ
when you signed a contract or whatever here, did you make sure to include the clause that would let you steal 3QC’s name?
at least you guys don't suck in the first quarter
Portland has a negative point diff.
draft dejuan blair
We make up for it in the 3rd quarter/4th quarter.
-17 in the 2nd half (before OT) against Phoenix last time out.
-13 in the 3rd quarter today.
Who’d have thought that the halftime break would be the biggest issue the Jazz would face…
I thought teams could use some rest.
interesting
Portland is a great fourth quarter team… I think we lead the league in comebacks.
draft dejuan blair
you guys have quite the gauntlet in the next few weeks
I’m glad Portland had their ridiculous schedule in November.
draft dejuan blair
Dallas has a hard enough schedule, that I would be surprised to see them pass us though.
Same with New Orleans. With their injuries, they will have to overcome a difficult schedule too. There is almost no chance we pass the Blazers or Nuggets though. (counter).

random thought
how has steve brown stayed employed all these years??
