Was gonna say...

Nugg Doctor’s review is all “f*** Utah”, and The Dream Shake is all “f*** Utah”, and the best BBJ can do is “Utah > Denver”?

by UtesFan89 on Mar 6, 2009 6:22 PM MST up reply actions

I did compare them to a little brother

Does that count? You can put whatever adjective you would like in between little and brother

by Basketball John on Mar 6, 2009 6:56 PM MST up reply actions

like George Carlin.

To love the Broncos is to suffer. To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer; not to love is to suffer; to suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy, then, is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be unhappy, one must love or love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness.

After a fresh dunk I feel so clean now....

Hopefully those ##$$($ so called %(&&$ fans over the hill can go @#*$&$ themselves while the JAZZ men clean the clocks of the thuggetts!! :)

by RRR on Mar 6, 2009 7:29 PM MST up reply actions

Yeah

The cavs and celtics are playing a pretty good game. Helps out the wait.

Rockets are going to potentially hand their rath on the suns.

by RRR on Mar 6, 2009 7:51 PM MST up reply actions

I always think the Celtics are at an advantage at first in this matchup --

If Lebron has an off day, it hurts Cleveland badly, whereas if Rondo or Pierce or Allen have a bad day, there’s more star power to make up for it.

Then I realized that an “off day” for LeBron James is still somewhere along the lines of 20 points, 5 rebounds, maybe a steal. Heh.

by Dyl on Mar 6, 2009 7:57 PM MST up reply actions

I was just watching the Rockets-Suns game, when the announcers had this dialogue:

Drexler: “Amundson just ran right over Brooks who was setting a pick. You can’t do that.”

Other Guy: “Nope….Unless you are in Utah. Then you can do whatever you want.” (Silence) “I’m not Bitter.”

Drexler: “Yes, you are. You need to learn to let it go.”

It appears that the Rocket fans come by it honestly. But you would never hear Bolerjack and Booner openly questioning officiating like that. It was really unprofessional. And funny.

The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.

by clarkpojo on Mar 6, 2009 8:12 PM MST reply actions

It will be hard for the Suns.

Free throws:

Houston= 26
Phoenix= 10

Sound familiar? And who is complaining about the refs? And they aren’t being more physical or attacking more than the Suns.

The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.

by clarkpojo on Mar 6, 2009 8:25 PM MST up reply actions

The funny thing is, despite the free throw disparity, guess who has more fouls at the center position.

Shaq has one foul in 28 minutes.
Mr. Ming has three in 31 minutes.

As Rorschach might say, “Hurm.”

Shaq had to learn to tone down the way he runs over people. Maybe Yao should too.

Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

by Shums on Mar 6, 2009 8:29 PM MST up reply actions

It's one thing to say "That was a bad call" or something along those lines

But that’s a bit far even for someone like me who’d be totally fine with more criticism on the air.

Denver spanked us hard last night. Actually, is there a way that both of you could lose so Portland moves up in the rankings?? (just kidding)

Good for you guys he's back.

I personally hate the guy. Unless he played here, then I’d love him. He’s one of those guys that you hate, but you’d want on your team. He’s tough as nails. I like how he doesn’t just plink away 18’ jumpers all night like a lot of modern PF’s like to do now days.

Nuggets fan here...

Don’t worry…we’ll get a large lead and then give it up at lease twice this game.

Therefore, to be unhappy, one must love or love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness.

and then incredibly infuriating to watch them slip away.

Therefore, to be unhappy, one must love or love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness.

your post fills me with reassurance.

and your signature/quote fills me with confusion.

by Shums on Mar 6, 2009 9:09 PM MST up reply actions

Allow me to clarify:

Judgment of any system, or a priori relationship or phenomenon exists in an irrational, or metaphysical, or at least epistemological contradiction to an abstract empirical concept such as being, or to be, or to occur in the thing itself, or of the thing itself.

Therefore, to be unhappy, one must love or love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness.

by PosterNutbag on Mar 6, 2009 9:11 PM MST up reply actions

That's basically the gist of it.

Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

by Shums on Mar 6, 2009 9:10 PM MST up reply actions

well...

we usually win those games in the end so it all works out.

Therefore, to be unhappy, one must love or love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness.

by PosterNutbag on Mar 6, 2009 9:10 PM MST up reply actions

should we look on the bright side?

at least the nuggets’ lead isn’t in double digits yet

by moni on Mar 6, 2009 9:10 PM MST up reply actions

Technically

the sun (and brightness) can only cause blindness & permanent eye damage during an eclipse.

If you just look at the sun during the day, it’ll just be minor (well, relative to permanent) damage.

AK? 0-3.

I don't know.

Is that what the announcer said?

I do think that Nene is a remarkable story.

definitely agreed

but then throw in Andersen and ex-Najera etc and it’s like SI could do feature stories on them all season. Not that they can’t play. Andersen is a beast

I've been very happy with Birdzilla lately.

and then yeah, has kind of faded away. Any thoughts on why?

You're kidding right?

We don’t play in the ChernoBowl/JazzMat/Glow Dome/Tox Box/etc. for nothing.

It was definitely the nuclear radiation…

by UtesFan89 on Mar 6, 2009 11:16 PM MST up reply actions

I'm not really sure...

I think having back to back high emotion/intensity games has drained the whole team.

They just came out flat in the second half which tells me their getting a little wobbly in the legs.

I'll admit haven't followed Den a whole lot

but has that been a patern for them, performance wise?

by Shooter McGavin on Mar 6, 2009 11:15 PM MST up reply actions

they tend to struggle in back to backs.

Particularly when they’re both high intensity games and the second one is on the road.

They always seem to collapse in the second half of the second game.

I think that’s true of most good teams in the NBA.

Yeah, the energy required to perform at that level

especially in an environment like Utah creates, has to wear especially hard

I just wonder why the physicality dropped of so much

It’s like the refs changed the way they were calling the game at halftime

by Shooter McGavin on Mar 6, 2009 11:20 PM MST up reply actions

Honestly,

I think we’re Nuggets fans are happy with how we came out of the two games.

We’d rather lose to you guys than Portland because now we still lead the division by half a game (I think).

On the other hand…we could have ended up in third after these two games. So I guess I take it.

PG battle

Billups: 5-17 FG, 12 pts, 2 ast, 3 reb.
D-Will: 8-14 FG, 26 pts, 11 ast, 4 reb, 2 blk.

ADVANTAGE, NINJA.

Well at at only 10 years his junior as well! :)

Billups has made Denver a much better team!

But likeBarkley says, they will not pull it off, cuz there is no “D” in Enver!

What a roller coaster ride. The one that makes you throw up at first and then gets fun towards the end.

I think it’s funny that posternutbag was super nice. Denver fans have every reason to hate the crap out of the Jazz and their fans and he comes over here all nice and stuff. Compare him to the Dream Shakers. Haha. I am super ticked at why people have to hate for no reason.

For the record, I am even nice to Laker fans.

Anyways, great win. Sad I missed chatting with you guys. I don’t have ESPN, so I had to watch it at a sports bar.

The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
