Nice interview.
I love listening to “good mood” Deron.
And the man seriously has just about the best crossover in the league. I feel like he needs a WWE-style “Ankle Breaker” shirt, listing all the big names he’s abused.
Also, I’m not exactly sure how I feel about making a WWE analogy.
Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?
I loved it when:
Deron says: “winning cure every pain.” and Kirkland says, “it sure does.” How does Kirkland know? Is he an avid lexulous player on facebook? Did he win at the local trivia night? City League Ball? It just made me laugh.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
I don't know why I noticed...
But when they were showing the highlights of Deron breaking ankles, I think the shot clock/game clock above the basket was broken on like 75% of them. LOL
Great interview. I totally agree with Shums… I love listening to “good mood Deron”. We are truly lucky to be able to watch him play every night.
That is part of the reason he is so clutch.
75% of those shots were within the last 24 seconds of the game or the period. That’s why the shot clock was turned off.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
he missed that shot against Terry
That Jason Terry crossover would be a lot better if he had drained the shot, or walked in for a layup or drop-off dime. It could have become a signature highlight, like Jordan’s non-dunk against the lakers, or Elway’s head-first dive into the first down against Green Bay in the SB. Oh well, there’s surely more crossovers to come.
MTN
Buckle up!
Oh, and the Bellenelli one
I don’t know how to spell the victim’s name, but he actually stayed right with Deron. What’s so great about the multiple crossovers is that it lulled the other four guys to sleep like a hypnotist’s pendulum. When he finally passed it, it’s like they all woke up suddenly, but too late to get to Memo. I think Bellinelli has no cause for shame.
Buckle up!
