Boozer for Barbosa
This actually is a possible trade seeing as how the Jazz want to keep Millsap badly, this is mainly why other deals were rejected, they want to clear up cap space.
In this deal you would simply trade Barbosa, Pavlovic who can then be waived, and Alando Tucker. Here are the numbers:
Barbosa- $6,600,000
Pavlovic- $4,946,250 non- guaranteed salary.
Tucker- 1,071,720
for
Boozer- $12,657,233
This deal would save the Jazz at the very least $3.45M with Pavlovic contract alone and if you leave Tucker out that an extra million is the Sunsare willing, as for the Jazz they would save a substantial amount to be able to pickup Millsap and have a nice piece in Barbosa to start or even come off the bench.

The Suns have Amare....
That would be giving them two PF’s. I do like Barbosa, he is an amazing scorer. I would like to get a big with any trade with Boozer. We can make it with Millsap alone.

That's also a lot of money locked up in the PF postion
~$12.5M + ~$13.5M = ~26M.
More than half of the salary cap locked up in the 4.

Barbosa was nearly untouchable. He’s one of the few youngish pieces left that the Suns have to build around if they decide to blow up the team, and the only logical successor to Steve Nash at PG. (I’m not willing to buy into Goran Dragic just yet).
That being said, the only way I could see that trade going down is if Amare gets moved. I don’t think there’s enough touches in PHX to satisfy both Amare and Boozer. Here’s a hypothetical trade that could work, but I can’t imagine it would ever happen:

Basically the Jazz get rid of Boozer, and get back a couple of players to fit behind Millsap in the depth chart. We also another moody east European guy to hang out with Andrei. They can even trade tips on the best way to gel up their hair.
The Suns pick up Boozer and CJ. Booze comes off the cap next season so they can make a run at another free agent, but they’re on the books with CJ for another two years. This trade probably doesn’t give them enough salary relief for them to be interested.
The Warriors get Stoudemire, but pretty much dismantle their front line. Although you gotta like the idea of the ‘Dubs playing small ball with Amare at center, Randolph/Magette at the 3/4, Ellis at SG and someone at PG. Every game they play would be 140-136. Unfortunately, they’d probably be on the losing side most of the time.
