The Downbeat - 16 September 2009 - #58 - The Imma Gonna Let You Finish Edition
So Stephen Jackson gets fined $25,000 for his public trade demands. Now Boozer never came out and said specifically, "I want to be traded." But certainly his actions and words were more detrimental than Jackson's.
It is possible that he got fined and we just don't know about it.
A new Ball Don't Lie contest using the now famous internet meme of Kanye West embarrassing himself. The entry they have up is of Horny. I've seen a few SLCDunkers win some BDL events. Let's see if someone can win again.
Am I the only one who thinks that fans will drive players away from Twitter eventually? Deron used to have forums on his website. He used to participate a lot on those. I don't know if it was the season starting up, losing interest, or what, but they eventually got taken down.
I'm thinking though that he might have gotten tired of some of the questions. A lot of his recent tweets have shown the same. It would be a shame to lose not only Deron, but other players.
Any Boozer sighting around the SLC? I hear he's back in town now. Wonder if he's playing pickup games?
I got nothing. Here's CJ's newest video.

i think the way carlos went about it supports the theory that his agent was on board with his little campaign…he never demanded a trade, only said that the jazz said they would trade him and that he expected a trade. now was he smart enough to figure out the loophole on his own, or did he have help from his agent?

I totally agree. It’s fun and exciting at first. People realize how cool Deron is for opening up his life to the world. And he gets good PR karma for being fan friendly. Then the 1% get really noisy, demanding, and rude. It becomes work. And with real work taking center stage (the season), it’s not worth the trouble.
A member from my favorite band got on the fan mailing list once just to say hi. The poor guy must have gotten 1000 emails within a week. He never came back. It’s a shame too, but it’s life.

ahhh, kids with money. Must be nice. My life was very different when I was 22.
I'll make it coach.
5. Dissapointed ...
Thought it was going to be a vid of the OTHER CJ Miles ;)

Haha – Love the last sentence of #1. I was waiting for Jordan’s shoutout to those guys when I was watching the enshrinement.
