Just read an article at the trib about Brewer's contract situation.

Personally I think that Brewer is going to be a great player in the future and I would like to see the Jazz tie him up to a long term deal before the Oct 31 deadline, although not sure what amount is right.
I personally think that he can be as big a player for the Jazz as what Millsap will be, and wouldn't think it is over the top money for his potential, but perhaps a figure between that and what CJ Miles has been signed for might be possible.
Another option is to not offer an extension and to have the market decide what he is worth as a restricted free agent. This could be risky as well depending on the type of season that he has. I am crossing my fingers that he really has a breakout year where he becomes the player that he has the ability to be.
so any thoughts on how much is too much and when the time is right to offer a contract?
