I love the swarm concept.

As I watched the second unit come on to the court Friday night I couldn’t help but think of SWARM. As I watched Ronnie and Earl bring it I became a believer of SWARM.

Fantastic Pic

and Phil Jackson is still the biggest cry-baby of all time:

“What was going on there? That stopped a [fast] break on our part. That slowed us down. [ Derek Fisher] had a nice rhythm going on a transition with a three-point deficit. It stops the play, starts us out of bounds. That’s just not right.”

“He’s tough and he gets away with a lot of stuff out there,” Jackson said. “He did some things tonight that were very unusual. Fish couldn’t run through the lane. His strength kind of kept us at bay.”

Of course he doesn’t talk about the discrepancy in fouls . . . I think he knows we’ve got their number this year. Yeah baby.

Yes, thank you for a wonderful suggestion.

Just like it says in that LA Times article, he came over and as he was walking back to the bench he read the poster and started laughing as he was walking toward me. Then when he got closer and stopped he started saying “No way, it’s huge” and put his hands up to his head as in saying that his head is huge (obviously not physically). So I said right back to him “Keep shooting then Kobe, keep shooting (you’ll lose the game for your team).” And he just kept smiling and nodding his head and then turned away and that’s when that picture got taken, and that’s why he’s smiling and everyone else around in the stands is laughing, everyone got a kick out of us going at each other lol.

Getting Kobe to hog the ball is always the best chance at beating LA

His personality makes him want to do it all by himself. So much ego and drive to prove he’s better than anyone ever has been. Works like a charm!

@gleb dok

so i’m re-watching the game or actually watching it for the first time since i was at work for the first three quarters. i love how excited you got when AK blocked the shot at the end of the 1st half lol.

i just noticed your avatar. real sweet.

p.s. just out of curiosity, are you standing on your tip toes?

by moni on Nov 28, 2010 7:50 AM MST up reply actions

yes, thats pic is actually from 2 years ago (once again against the Lakers, once again I was in the front row and once again we beat them that time as well)

And no I wasn’t on my tip toes at all, but I wasn’t hunching at all and he kind of was. That was at the beginning of the 2nd half, AK was sitting that one out with his ankle injury at the time. So I had him sign the back of my jersey and talked to him in russian for a few minutes. That was a pretty awesome experience too.

From the LA times:

But Bryant felt the momentum as the Lakers led by three during a timeout with 1:33 to play, even engaging in banter with a fan holding a sign that said, “The only thing bigger than Kobe’s ego is the Laker payroll.”

Bryant laughed and said, “It’s huge,” holding his hands around his head and sticking out his tongue.

On this night, though, Jazz fans had the last laugh.

Bwuahaha!

Go Buffalo Bills, Utah Jazz, and Arkansas Razorbacks
