Once again thanks to the folks over at the Uni Watch Blog we now have a full image featuring the new Jazz logo and colors for next season.
I actually kind of like the logo on the front that is half green and half yellow. It looks like the music note on the side is featuring green, yellow, and navy (although I can't tell if that is navy, or purple. Thoughts?)
The hat above is the draft day hat for 2010.
I wonder how Evan Turner will look in it?

Eeehhhh.....
I really wish that green and yellow would be the focus of colors with purple only used as an accent. And I’m not crazy about the player silhouette in the middle of the logo. Looks too much like the NBA logo. I’ll stick to rocking the retro look.
It’s a step in the right direction but they missed the mark.

Color Fade
If you look at the other logos linked from the Uni Watch site, their colors also fade— I think that (like Jerry West showing in the logo) is a draft-only thing.

I would love it even more with Evan turner under it.

This draft is going to be so interesting. Two months ago, Evan Turner was the guy the Jazz hoped to land. Is that still true?
I also think if the Jazz land #2 and Evan Turner, it will increase the chances of the Jazz bringing back Boozer.

If they land turner they will probably either resign boozer or else they will go after another big guy in free agency. If they resign Boozer, I really hope it’s too a shorter contract. 2-3 year.
It will also make Korver the odd man out I’m thinking. Which I would be okay with.

It’s interesting that they pulled the Jazz and Warriors hats off that page. Perhaps someone in the web store department didn’t get the memo about keeping the new logos under wraps?
When are the Wizards going to change that embarrassment of a logo?
When they are forced to change their name again due to Wizards being too violent or evil.

Draft caps are pretty much universally awful.
If our new logo/colors can make me like a draft cap (and I do really, really like it)… well, let’s just say I will be purchasing way too much Jazz gear in the near future.

My Guess
is that the logo will be green with yellow outlines and Utah in dark blue.. I am sorely vexed that they are ditching purple though..The Jazz are a purple team.

Am I the only one who has thought of this. Jerry West played for the Lakers we have a Lakers player in/on our freaking logo. This is beyond ridiculous. I truly hope that this little(Jerry West) addition is for Draft Day only. How crappy would it be to be reminded of the Lakers every time you looked at the Jazz logo. Kill me know.
I am not MIA videos and the sorts will be coming as soon as my student teaching/graduate school is done May 28th.

Jerry West is also the logo for the NBA. It’s just a Logo. It’s on the NBA logo on the back of the hat everytime anyways. So chill.

Stupid question but I haven't been able to get an answer...
Are these new uni’s we’re getting going to be the full time ones (IE; replacing the current navy & blue) or are they going to be alternate jerseys that we were occasionally (IE; green ones last year), or do we not even know yet?
As far as I know, all new Unis
New Home and Road for sure, and I hope and pray that we keep the green alternate
