the problem is i might not have enough will power to get up again
and the jazz aren’t giving me much extra motivation
The team looks frustrated
and they’re thinking too hard, particularly Boozer, Miles, and Fes. and how about Korver’s first shot? I think if they can make a significant run, they will have some confidence to carry forward. And Deron, once again, can do what he wants. I think he should go in and draw some fouls on the big guys, but how many more bruises can he sustain?

I hate to blame the game on the refs like a Nuggets fan.
But the refs crapped the bed in the last two minutes of play. Every touchy foul given to the Lakers and then the Jazz get raped with no call.

Lakers are hands down the better team
I thought the officiating was very tame. Lakers interior defense is just superior. hope the jazz can keep playing hard and get the series to 7. but not too optimistic. Love the heart of this team though.

I liked how the refs allowed the teams to play.
Until the last 6 minutes of the game where the Lakers could jump over the back of Jazz players and then get every touchy foul as well.
That one call when CJ fell guarding Kobe was crap.

CJ flopped
Then rotated his body on the floor and reached up to shove Kobe’s hip during the shot. Obvious foul and not a smart play, as you’re very conspicuous when you’re on the floor. The refs aren’t what cost the Jazz this game, the length of the Laker bigs and the lack of a Kobe stopper cost them. If you take out the intentional fouls at the end to stop the clock, the free throws attempted was 23-21 in favor of the Lakers. The Lakers often don’t have a significant FT advantage at home because the lower bowl crowd with all the celebs and Hollywood producers is too cool to make any noise and thus don’t influence the refs. The biggest ovation before the Laker run in the final four minutes was when CJ got up OK after his hard fall.

Millsap, Boozer, Miles, and Price really play hard, and Matthews is already way better than his father was when he played for the Lakers. Matthews Sr. was mostly known for this when he played for us:

We as Jazz fans are delusional about the refs swaying this game at all. the Jazz had the opportunity to get a good 6 or 7 point lead but couldn’t do it. Lakers win even with the “horrible officiating.”

..Your probably more sane than myself, Haha. I wasn’t really being serious. But I would say the Jazz could have had more opportunities had the whistle shown up a time or two more in the closing minutes. But overall I think it was a fine officiated game.
