Gaines, Jeffers, Evans, Hayward and the KOOF are the "big" names there.  As Siler pointed out, Harris was on the team last season before getting injured.  I thought he was one that could have earned a spot last year. Given the logjam we have at the wing, he'll likely be auditioning for other teams.

Pour one out for Kevin Lyde who won't be on the summer league team in what seems like since I was a young boy.

We'll finally get to see the mysterious Dragicevic play though he'll be returning to Europe regardless.

yes

"One of the teams asked me a running back question," McCluster said. "They said when you have the ball, do you focus on the guy who's in front of you or the next guy.

"I told them 99% of the time, I'm going to make that first guy miss. Then, I'm onto the next."

karl malone remains my gold standard for PFs

and he was listed at 256 his entire career. in comparison, this roster is pretty lightweight.

Jared Quayle??

As a fellow Aggie I was hoping the Utah State guy would get a chance to play this summer.

Keeping an eye on...

Gaines: The Jazz wanna see if he can handle the PG spot
Jeffers: Non-guaranteed contract (like Sunny D), so he has something to play for
Dragicevic: He won’t be over this year, but it’ll be interesting to see what he has
Hayward: Duh
Evans: Is he really the next coming of AK?
Benson: The guy is fairly good defensively, it seems
Koufos: Can he take a step forward
Davidson: He’s a shotblocker. Can he earn a spot?

RIP Nick Adenhart. 4/9/09

My predictions on who can make the roster:

Gaines, most likely will be the third string PG. I see no reason to replace him. He knows the system. He’s relatively cheap. He killed the cavs.

Hayward, cause well.. Duh?

Evans, I really wanna see him make the roster. If he can continue to work out and beef up while maintaining athleticism…. He could be very interesting at PF. If not sign him to the D-league and let him beef up a year.

Benson, Dude needs to make an NBA roster. I feel bad for him. Jazz need interior defense. Benson solves that. He’s smaller for a Center but mybe he could be like a Kendrick Perkins? Can he really be worse than Koof?

Koof, He’s already got the contract. Hopefully he can step the heck up and blossom into something amazing.

For the Love of the Game

Stockton to Malone- The perfect combination!!

Boom Tho!

Say yes to Rod Benson. He could bring a much needed attitude to this team, plus there could be an entire Boom Tho! section that wears hats with a flipped up bill and big sunglasses.
