Just when you thought you were done hearing the name John Amaechi, turns out you aren't. Turns out he will have a part in the opening ceremony of the Olympics in London. He will shoot the first hoop in the basketball arena. My favorite part of the article is how the call him an "NBA star". Maybe they never watched tape on this guy, but I am not so sure he is going to make that shot.
