Al Jefferson is better than Boozer
Am I the only 1 who feels this way?
Listen Jazz fans, Im going to make a point that (sadly) no one is saying. AL is abetter player than Carlos. If the T-Wolves offered Jefferson for Boozer straight up the Jazz should/would have easily taken it. Hes bigger, faster,a better rebounder, better around the rim, younger, with more upside. He will be way better in the pick and roll, also help them better defensively. We have a three point shooting center who will benefit from Jefferson's presence much better than Boozer's. Dont but surprized if Boozer hurts Chicago more than he helps. The addition of Al makes the 2teams out west to rival La the Mavs and now Us. ( We should get Fernandez too)

You're not the only one who feels this way.
Our comments, posts and conversations have been very high on Big Al since the trade happened. We’re all pretty giddy about the possibilities.
Also, welcome! :)
Uh, do you think you could draw me like a ninja?

Big Al > Booz
Big Al is a welcome change. Amen to Shums comments. We are all giddy. Once the season rolls around, we will be hearing much more praise for Al than there has been due to it being the offseason.
It depends
on what aspect of the game you’re looking at when you say he is better. Boozer is one of the better outside paint shooting PFs, he is a better passer, he probably has the best left hand in the game around the basket, and no one is louder than him.
AL is a better post player, he is a better rebounder, and he has length that Boozer didn’t have. His game is different. Also, I expect him to play Center not PF in the Jazz system.
That being said, I’m excited for Al and for the Jazz.

MonSTARZ forever!
I'm not all that worried about comparing Boozer to Al Jefferson straight up, but I think especially for what the Jazz need, Al Jefferson is a much better fit for the Jazz.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
Nothing to be sorry about when you get us all pumped up for the season...
I can’t wait till I start hearing, “Boozer who?”

Boozer who? oh, the guy Jefferson posterized the last five years!

My question is...
What are the odds that Boozer shows up in SLC when the Bulls and Jazz play? I can imagine a pulled hammy around that time. Plus he will be an 80 million dollar embarrassment when Al and Sap run all over him.
