Who Gets Cut? 2010 - Round 7

Ronnie Price may be able to leap over a high-flying dodge ball, but he wasn't able to hurdle the last vote. 68% of the vote from yesterday went to Price and there was nobody else even close.

It wasn't too big of a shocker given who was left. Now he will be battling newly-signed Earl Watson for backup PG minutes. Sloan will find a way to get him in so we could see him playing the two with Deron and Watson at the point.

Now we're down to the final eight and the meat of the rotation. If you haven't been following along until now, the premise is this: If you had to start cutting players, who would would you cut? Throw roster requirements out the window. Who's going to be the most important for the Jazz this coming season? Who's going to be the least important of the group? Make your choice based on whatever you think "important" means.

I should have done this when I started, but I'll reveal my choice and explanation after the jump (so as to not persuade you either way)

Previously on Who Gets Cut?

09. Ronnie Price
10. Kyrylo Fesenko
11. Jeremy Evans
12. Sundiata Gaines
13. Francisco Elson
14. Othyus Jeffers

My pick for round 7 was Gordon Hayward. He's going to have to be a contributor but right now is the great unknown. I'll take Bell, AK, and CJ over him right now.

Bell > Hayward with his D and his 3P shooting percentage. I realize that Hayward could return to form, but we have yet to see him play in an NBA game yet and last year in Butler wasn't so kind from behind the arc.

AK > Hayward because of his D as well. This one isn't a contest in my opinion.

And CJ is still > Hayward. CJ is finally coming into his own and hopefully continues his run from the last part of the season.

These rankings may change next season though.
