The Floppingest Floppers That Ever Did Flop
I don't know how a black hole didn't open up at the ESA last night as two concurrent flops from Manu Ginobili and Raja Bell nearly ripped open the space-time continuum. Make sure you're wearing the Doc's glasses for this:
The leg kick at the end is classic Manu. Of course the best course of action would have been not to call anything but I think the ref let out an inadvertent tweet from his whistle as he gasped (or marveled) at the spectacle. He had to call something after that and gave Manu the Oscar and Bell the foul.

It gets better
After the game Manu continued the flopping, verbally, questioning the officiating in an interview.
Ginobili was tied for a game-high 9 FTAs.
LOL
How freaking horrible was the reffing last night. I couldnt believe some of the crap calls they were making.
When Manu goes into the BB HOF
I hope it is as an innovator for all contributions he has made to the field of NBA flopping.
I know I'm in the minority
But I really like Ginobli.
His flops entertain me, and just add to the drama. Kind of like how Willie Mays wore a cap too big, so it would fall off dramatically when he chased down fly balls.

The top graphic above, from me it was.
Better this graphic shows Bells flop is.

No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try.
The sad thing is that both of them were doing exactly what they need to do to get a call. Manu made his flop twice as bad with his sissy leg kick.
It was a horrible horrilbe call though. Even in San Antonio that would be a bad call. Bell had position. Manu extended his arm and nothing Bell did should have resulted in a defensive foul. It pretty much sums up Bell’s season.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
If Derek Fisher
had been within 200 feet of those epic flops there would have been a rip. Everyone knows you need 3 epic floppers to make that happen. Geeze BBJ

Haven't seen moves like that since Breakdance
"He is STUPID but he knows that he is STUPID and that almost makes him smart."
I so wish the ref had not called anything
Can you imagine the comedy of both guys doing their breakdance routine while the ref just stares at them with a little smirk on his face?

That would have been epic.
I can almost guarantee in that instance there would of most likely been a round 2 immediately following.
If somebody with CGI skills could please make an explosion occur when they collide, and then produce a black hole that slowly devours ESA
I would appreciate it.

Which has better acting?
This play/debacle or Rambo?
This could be Manu’s lash-out at the Academy for skipping him in the Oscar nominations.
How dare you
doubt Rambo!

It is my understanding that one of the alternate meanings of “Ginobili” in Spanish is “flopper.”
I also like the well-perfected “play acting” move of both Ginobili and Tony Parker, which I like to refer to the “wounded chicken wing” move. As either of those players head into the key on a drive, they lean into the defensive player and start rotating their off-ball arm and elbow into the defensive player around in a circle like a wounded chicken wing, trying to draw a foul. Unfortunately, this stupid-looking move fools the referees about 90% of the time and results in a lot of unearned foul shots for both Ginobili and Parker.
Next time you watch the Spurs play, watch for this move—both Ginobili and Parker do this move almost every time they make a drive to the basket. I wouldn’t be surprised if George Hill hasn’t also learned this move by now, after being around Ginobili and Parker for several years.
