Alright, after today, the owners have offered the following:

1. 50:50 split of BRI (previously they wanted 46:54 in their favor)
2. Guaranteed contracts (previously they wanted only partially guaranteed contracts)
3. No rollbacks on existing contracts
4. No more talk of a "hard cap"

The players still say "NO WAY".  This has gotten ridiculous on the players part.  They have no hand.  Their options are:

1. Maybe 50 out of the 400 players can play overseas for 20% of the money
2. Overseas contracts are non guaranteed
3. If you go to Turkey for example, you might not get paid, you don't speak the language, the arenas and facilities are not the same etc.  
4. Overseas leagues are rougher with fewer fouls being called.  Plus as an NBA player you will be a marked man.  Everyone will want to go at you every night.  If you get hurt your career could be over.

To put things in perspective, Magic Johnson made 18 million in his Entire career.  The Lakers now have 3 players who make that much or more in one season.   I don't want the season canceled but if the players are going to continue to be stupid, I'm in favor of doing just that. If someone out there has a better way to get the players attention I'd love to hear it.   How can we as fans voice our displeasure with the players?
