If Utah has a possible trade for Millsap or Jefferson in place. If they were trying to trade with Sac and NJ that means they were probably going after Cousins. I wonder if the Jazz are trying to go after a wing player by trading one of our bigs.

No one on that team I’d want. Devin Harris and Derrick Favors are the best of both worlds. All Star and a very young, promising talent. Plus, 2 first rounders of teams that are horrible? Can’t pass that up.

When referring to Devin Harris as an All-Star, refer to it in the same light as Memo as an All-Star. The East was struggling with PG that year he made the All-Star team.

Well . . .

If the Jazz really are going into rebuild mode I wouldn’t be surprised if they went after Michael Redd. He’s back in practice now and if he’s healthy he could immediately give us a good shooter. Plus he has an expiring contract so if he works out we can try to make a deal with him and if he doesn’t it would give us some room to make deals next season.

Question

Do we trade AK’s 17mil dollar expiring contract for a couple of guys that we could rebuild with….or do we let it expire and try to sign FA’s with that money?

Keep in mind that not many good FA’s choose to play in Utah…unless we over pay.

I would think trading him for guys would be a smart move.
