Bill Simmons grades the trades

Simmons gives the Deron Williams trade generally an A-minus, saying it was a no-brainer for New Jersey and was "[w]ell played" on our end. He then naturally goes on to jab Jazz fans about the "see, I was right about Chris Paul being better than Deron Williams!" thing, never mind the fact that he's flip-flopped on that debate more than the average politician does on government spending (and I'm still not sure exactly how this trade proves that Chris Paul is better, but whatever). He redeems himself with what he probably didn't intend as a "Princess Bride" reference, but, as a member of this blog, I'm naturally choosing to interpret it that way: "Jazz fans are like Sicilians: You don't mess with them." That's right, never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line!
