The Jazz' way to the playoffs
I'm thinking the Jazz will need 44 wins to get to the playoffs. Breaking down the remaining schedule:
Absolutely Must win:
- vs. Denver 3/3
- vs. Sacramento 3/5
- vs. Minnesota 3/16
- vs. Washington 3/28
- vs. Portalnd 4/7
- vs. Denver 4/13
Really should win:
- at Toronto 3/9
- at Minnesota 3/11
- vs. Philly 3/14
- at Memphis 3/21
- vs. New Orleans 3/24
- at Sacramento 4/3
Would help to win
- at New York 3/7
- at Houston 3/20
- at Oklahoma City 3/23
- vs. Lakers 4/1
- at New Orleans 4/11
Upsets that shouldn't be counted on
- at Chicago 3/12
- vs. Dallas 3/26
- at Lakers 4/5
- at San Antonio 4/9
The must wins and should wins get the Jazz to 44 wins. There are several road games in that group, and this concerns me less than it would have "back in the day," when it seemed a lot harder to win on the road.
But the "must-wins" start Thursday and Saturday. The Jazz have to pull out of the home freefall now.

Here is how we make the playoffs
We beat all the teams ahead of us that we can. Memphis, Hornets, Blazers, Nuggets, etc. We need as many tie breakers as we can.
Then we have to make a stand at home. We cannot lose anymore games at home.
Then we pray. =)

Stockton to Malone- The perfect combination!!
"I think he just said, 'Oh my Gosh,' or whatever they say in Provo."- ESPN talking about QB. Max Hall after BYU defeated third ranked Oklahoma (2009).
MonSTARZ forever!
If the Jazz win out at home . . . .
They make the playoffs. But that is a tall order, especially with the Mavs and Lakers still to visit.
The home game vs the Lakers is back to back for Lakers, 3 days rest for Jazz

Jazz just need to get in.
In my opinion if they Jazz make the playoffs at all then they will have had a successful season. The way the season has gone, with all the adversity and things that we have gone through, it will be tough to make the playoffs.
Now I feel that we can honestly get up to a 6 seed in the playoffs if we start finishing games like we should. I mean we should have had that win against boston the other night. If we can find a way to put teams away and step on their throat then we will be ok. We just need to not let up. GO JAZZ
