Ante Tomic vs. Regal FC Barcelona

Real Madrid recorded its third straight win with a 77-72 victory in overtime over arch-rival Regal FC Barcelona at home this Saturday, April the 9th.

Utah Jazz’s Ante Tomic started and logged 27:52 of playing time. Tomic scored 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field and 5-of-6 from the foul line, grabbed four boards, dished two assists and drew four personal fouls.

Tomic struggled early with the game’s physical tone. Both teams shut the paint, allowing no uncontested layups and no quality looks from five-feet in. But late, with the game on the line, Real Madrid went to its best player and Tomic delivered, scoring seven points of the team’s last 15 points and getting a huge block on Joe Ingles late, pretty much clinching the win.

With the victory, Real Madrid improves to 23-6 and reaches Barça atop the ACB standings.
