KOC: Evil genius or just evil?

If this has already been discussed in a SLCD post or FanPost, please excuse me and just point me to that.

Is there any change that KOC has instructed Corbin to play the youth less in order to suppress their market value once it comes time to sign/extend new contracts?

This seems like a super risky move if the Core 4 has the talent that we all hope they do. BUT, if he pulls it off (without completely jading their attitude) it might be an even better strategy than Oklahoma City's.

The Thunder, of course, gave gobs of minutes to their young players and as we just saw, weren't able to keep their core together because too many of them could command a max (or near max) contract on the open market.

Again, IF the Jazz brass can pull this off they effectively extend their window with the Core 4--even allowing enough cap space to sign other marquee free agents.
