NBA Regular Season 2012-2013, Game 3:
Utah Jazz (1-1) @ San Antonio Spurs (2-0)
The Spurs had a night off, and we didn't. But fatigue is no excuse for the third game of the season. They beat OKC and NOH, and we beat DAL and lost to NOH. So, using algebra, we're less than the Spurs. Unless, of course, we come out hungry and shock the world. I'd love to see that tonight. Actually, I hope to see that. If the Jazz go into this game with the idea that it's already lost then why bother lacing them up in the first place, right?
Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili will all play tonight. But we re-loaded this off-season and should at least put up a fight. I hope to see enough fight tonight to deserve a win. Let's doo this!
Our bigs need to step it up and play big. Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap have been beasts on the boards, but I'd love to see both of these guys shoot greater than 50fg% tonight. We NEED that from them, and they NEED to play like that in contract years.
