#LACatUTA Game Stream -- Clips Nation -- Clippers vs Jazz coverage
Hey, remember when the Clippers were a universal laughing stock? Yeah, 23-6 makes it hard to laugh at them now...
.
The Basics:
The Jazz started off like gangbusters and had a sizable lead at the half thanks to yet another first quarter flub and second quarter surge by our bench. Over all the team's greatest lead was 19 points in the third quarter; however, the best team in the west is the best team in the west for good reason. The Clippers stormed back to finish the third quarter leaving the Jazz with the slimmest of margins entering the fourth.
There were some interesting calls to finish this game too (just like last game); but I didn't watch it so I'm not going to say anything until I see it for myself. (I tried to log on but got a technical difficulties error)
It's 2:30 am and I had a super busy day so I'm calling it a night. The Clippers were led by Chris Paul (29 points, 6 assists) and Blake Griffin (22 points, 13 rebounds). The Jazz were paced by Randy Foye (28 points, 5/9 from three, somehow also the worst +/- on the entire team). Paul Millsap finished with 12 points and 5 rebounds; and Al Jefferson had 22 and 8. These are not the numbers we're going to need from these guys if these guys are going to lead us to the playoffs again.
Off the bench Gordon Hayward and Alec Burks had 28 points off of 14 shots. You know. Just pointing that out. The Jazz clearly miss Mo Williams a lot.
The Clippers have now won 16 straight, and host the Jazz in two nights on their court. Fun!
