So there have been lots of discussions over the past weeks about trading with the Lakers for Pau Gasol. I have heard proposals for Jefferson and Millsap, or one of the two plus somebody else. On the Laker fan site (Silver Screen and Roll) they were ecstatic about a trade for Millsap, Marvin Williams, and Raja Bell. I don't really like this trade idea because we still have a jam in the front court, and it also really weakens our wing position (although it could open up time for Burks).
I would propose a 3 way trade with Denver. It could be done in one of two ways.
Option 1
Jazz - Gallinari (via Denver)
Nuggets - Gasol (via LA)
Lakers - Millsap (via Utah), Ma Williams (via Utah), W. Chandler (via Denver)
Option 2
Jazz - Iguodala (via Denver)
Nuggets - Gasol (via LA)
Lakers - Millsap (via Utah), Ma Williams (via Utah), Bell (via Utah)
The biggest problem to this trade is that it would potentially make all three teams better (do you really want a better Denver).
Denver is worst at center and strongest at wing so it would improve them. I think if they had to chose they would prefer to keep Gallinari, but that would be my favorite option.
