Tonight there is a double-header on ESPN (Oklahoma City Thunder at Dallas Mavericks ; then LA Clippers at Utah Jazz). I haven't slept much lately (2 hours in the last 24), so I'm going to make this a simple game thread:

What is the definition of a dunk?
Is it a little over hyped? Yes. Is trying to down play it being silly? Yes. It was undeniably pure awesome. If a member of the Jazz did something like that, I would expect us to all lose our S.

if he ever figures it out, with moves and the such, and gains a defense he’ll be a monster
hes good. and can definitely be the best pf in the league soon
but some talk like hes already there.

Sometimes its hard to be a fan of the NBA isn't it?
Such biased refing, super teams, rigged lotterys.
It's not as bad as some fans see it
ie – Stern deciding who wins the championship each year
BUT – I agree that NBA officiating is some of the most inconsistent of any sport/ You never know what you’re going to get any one night (early/late calls, strict on reach ins or not, etc) and superstars clearly get preferential treatment.

I've thought of that too
but in reality, we’re not a team that’s ready to go there. In other words, the Jazz are too young a team to mortgage their future to rent Steve Nash until he retires or his back goes out. We would have to give away too much.
We have to hope for a great draft pick/trade on draft day and go from there.
No doubt that Steve Nash would make it happen though…..

That he chose a flop rather than manning up and playing D when crunch time came. He won’t always get that call. Only against Paul Millsap.
I hate ESPN and I hate the NBA. I like the Jazz. They lost this at the line and on the boards, but never forget – Blake Griffin is a pansy.

Maybe I’ve watched him grow as a player since he started playing at Oklahoma, so I understand what kind of player he is, and I’m saying that he gets a little diva in him when the going gets tough. Still brings the thunder, but he really does miss a certain toughness down the stretch. Seen it plenty of times.
