The Utah Jazz face off against the New York Knicks in 30 mins from now. Seriously. I'm not organized enough to have a flashy game thread up in time for something like an East Coast Game -- and I live in the Eastern Standard Time Zone. Man. Knicks will be playing without Amar'e Soudemire who lost his brother. I expect the Knicks to play with a lot of heart as a result.
No major injuries for the Jazz, Knicks w/o Amar'e, but also without Baron Davis and Josh Harrellson

Should be a fun game
Even without Stat it’ll be a tough game—road games will always be challenging. More so tonight because of the venue. Actually looking forward to watching Lin Mania up close.

I would rather see him at SG of course.
But if we insist on playing him at the 3, eventually he is going to have to learn to guard elite players there. I want him to try to handle Melo.
Body wise, he would be bigger than the other SG
But I much rather play him there also. Seems to have a keen for that position.

Other than the Hayward/Melo and possibly the Bell/Fields match up, I take our starters over theirs (yes even Harris, if he shows up). And I like our bench more.

Anyone notice that the Jazz are actually running off ball on offense this quarter?

I liked Howard early in the year.
But it has faded. I hate that he takes minutes when Burks gets a DNP.
It's not like he is superior to Burks or CJ
He’s just a bit more of the same.
I like Howard, but I don’t like him when he’s not playing at an elite level

Haven’t enjoyed watching this game at all tonight guys.
1. Because we haven’t played well
2. Because the starters have had way too many minutes and I’d rather watch the younglings lose than the starters grind out a win
3.Because we’re playing a team who’s best player is JEREMY LIN and we are LOSING.

Have to wait until it is for sure out of hand.
We wouldn’t want them to get any meaningful minutes.
The calls have not gone the Jazz's way.
But the effort hasn’t been there. We deserve to lose. The Knicks don’t deserve to win though.
I like how Matt says giving second chance points is the problem tonight.
When we are losing, isn’t it always? Second chance points, bad shooting, and letting guards get in the lane at will.
Jazz aren't winning this game because of missed shots all over ther place and lack of execution...

All the good things Ty has done as Coach have meant nothing tonight. I know the players have played a big role in this loss, but I’ve been extremely unimpressed with the Jazz’s adjustments at the half, their defensive rotations, their offensive sets and most importantly – the absolutely terrible use of the bench.
