Nice, two nights, two NBA Finals teams. We beat the Miami Heat last night thanks to some impressive play in the 2nd and 3rd quarters where the team pushed the lead to 18 points. It was just enough as the Jazz held on despite one of the best individual performances we've seen against us in recent history. LeBron James seemed to only get stronger and stronger as the game went by, but he opted to be more like Magic Johnson on the last play, and less like Michael Jordan. He passed. Haslem missed. We won.
Tonight we face off against the Dallas Mavericks. They are not setting their conference on fire this year, but they have defeated us two times already this season. They will be, no doubt, emboldened by the return of their do-it-all forward Lamar Odom. Odom was sent to the NBA-DL to check on their candy supply, he is back now. He and Rodrigue Beaubois will prove to be dangerous weapons off the bench for the defending Champs if the previous two games are any indication.
