Hey Jazz fans. I check your website often and its pretty good! I'm a Nets fan and I need your opinion about free agency. I'm not trying to start anything with an Jazz fans, due to the fact that the Jazz and Deron didn't end so well. I am actually rooting for them in the Playoffs. Glad they got in and are playing the Spurs, and I hope they beat them! (Not a big fan of the Spurs)
So, you guys as Jazz fans know a lot about Deron Williams. Your organization drafted him, and he spent a couple of years with the Jazz and you guys had some nice runs in the playoffs. I'm sure your fans know more about Deron than Nets fans, but what is your opinion about his free agency? Do you guys think he'll sign a max extension and stay with the Nets on their move to Brooklyn, or do you think he'll leave and go to Dallas or the Lakers?
Some reasons to stay: 1. New billion dollar arena, the Barclays Center. They have a chance to re-sign everyone and making a run in the playoffs. Only time will tell if that happens though. 2. They got some young talent including MarShon Brooks and Gerald Green. 3. Although you guys think Brook is awful for his lack of rebounding, he actually is a young talent with the ability to score the basketball. He only played in five games this year due to injury.
Some reasons to leave: 1. The Nets finished 22-44 this year, last in the Division, and 6th worst in the NBA. Deron wants to win, and the Nets did not do that this year. 2. Dallas and LA are in the playoffs and have a history of doing great things in the playoffs. On the other hand, the Nets do not. 3. Dallas is Deron's hometown, and he always enjoys playing in Dallas' arena (Forgot the name sorry about that)
So, what is your opinion about Deron Williams? Will he stay with Brooklyn or will he leave to another team?
