Clearly the jazz have issues to take care of this offseason. They need to trade Paul or Al for a pg or a lot of 3 point shooters. So i have a couple of scenarios that would be pretty interesting if they happened.
1. Trade with Orlando:
Utah gets: JJ Reddick, and Jameer nelson/ Ryan Anderson
Magic get: Paul Millsap and Jamaal Tinsley.
Why the Jazz to do it: They obviously need to dump a big man, and in this they get atleast 2 great shooters, and they either a solid starting pg or a stretch 4 (which we haven't had since Okur).
Why the Magic do it: In an effort to try to keep Dwight Howard, they trade for a versatile all around PF to pair with him, and a pg who has proven he can run an offense.
2. Trade with Pistons:
Utah gets: Ben Gordon, 2012 First Rounder
Pistons get: Al Jefferson
Why the Jazz do it: We get the shooting combo guard in Ben Gordon, and a high first rounder.
Why the Pistons do it: The pistons are in a desperate search to find a running mate to go with Greg Monroe. With this they get a scoring big man who doesn't know how to play a lick of Pick and Roll D, but this trade allows them to move Monroe to his natural PF position which will help his development.
3. Trade With Buck:
Utah gets: Beno Udrih, Ersan Ilyasova (sign-and-trade), and 2012 First Rounder
Bucks get: Al Jefferson
Why the Jazz do it: They get solid backup pg in Beno, and the great rebounder and shooter in Ersan. Beno is a career 35.4% 3 point shooter, and Ersan shot 45.5% last year from 3, so this should solve all of our problems.
Why the Bucks do it: As you can with the bucks trading for Monta last year, they probably don't have a defensive mindset. So they get the low post scorer to pair with the 2 scorers in the backcourt.
What are your thoughts??????
