Just to make it clear it was me who tweeted the Raja trade to Locke who retweeted it and I just wanted to explain myself. First off I am not 11. For those who haven't heard about the trade I suggested Raja for Jimmer. But one of my favorite parts about pretending to be the GM is I like thinking outside the box.

I new the first big obstacle would be Raja's trade value. I was thinking with a young team in Sacramento they might want his experience. Than I thought is defense or supposed defense might be a nice complement to their chuckers. On the other hand they just might not value defense very highly. As far as Jimmers value I don't know how much value Sacramento has on him right now who might be their 3rd point guard (I am not sure if Isaiah Thomas is actually their number 2 but I was hoping for the trade).

Next obstacle would be the media distraction. I know there would be a distraction but I think it could become manageable at least for Jimmer who I think had a bit of a distraction his last year at BYU. I think you can do it by first a media blitz from the Jazz telling that we wanted him for his 3 point shooting (hopefully he will be able transfer that to the NBA) and that we will try to expand his game but we got to be patient with him and I think most Jazz fans will let that happen. Than you still might not want to play him at least for the first several games to reinforce that. You would need to let Jimmer know exactly what you are doing and push him for patience as well.

But I know this all is a long shot specially Sacramento's wanting Raja part but I wouldn't mind something for nothing as I see it.

But now on to my next trade possibility. Which I will preface with this would trade is only doable if we think we can sign Steve Nash. But the trade is Paul Millsap and Devin Harris for Pau Gasol. This will upgrade there point guard situation and give them a power forward that fits in better for them. We can get a guy that we can finally start with Favors and have Al come off the bench. I would only do it if I was pretty sure we can get Steve Nash so it almost becomes Millsap for Gasol. The biggest downside to me would be this might help Lakers to much.
