Draft rule question

This is completely unrelated to this year's draft or the Jazz, but I was reading about Jabari Parker and I started to wonder. If he (or anyone else, for that matter) plays a year of college, can he then declare for the draft while stating that he intends to take two years off for a mission? It's kind of an unusual situation, because it's the first time that I can recall that an LDS athlete has the chance to go one and done. Would a team be willing to take a chance on him, knowing that he wouldn't play for two years? In all likelihood it will be a non-factor, but I was just curious how that would work.
